Started in 1911 by Morris Treger as a metal box producer in Zimbabwe, The Treger group has built through the generations into the multi-faceted group of companies it is today. After reaching great success in Zimbabwe the group also spread out into South Africa with companies such as Monarch Marketing, IBuild and Steel Processing Centre.

Group of Companies

  • IBuild was started in 2014 as an Aluminium Window, Sliding Door, Entrance Door and Garage Door Producer. IBuild's Products are all manufactured to industry standards.
  • Steel Processing Centre was started in 2016. SPC uses steel coils and cuts them into circles for our Pot Factory in Zimbabwe.
  • Kango Products was founded in 1953 and has since become one of the biggest suppliers of Enamelled Holloware, Aluminium Holloware, Cast Iron Cookware, Domestic and Industrial Appliances in Zimbabwe.
  • Monarch Steel is based in Bulawayo and was founded in 1932 and now manufactures: Door Frames, Window Frames, Galvanised Hardware, Sanitary Ware, Wheelbarrows, Geysers, Kitchen Furniture and School Furniture.
  • Zimbabwe Grain Bag is a leading manufacturer of woven polypropylene packaging and is renowned for its proven track record for manufacturing large quantities of anti-slip full specification grain storage bags.
  • Treger Plastics is a leading manufacturer of polyethylene packaging, PVC rigid and flexible piping. Treger Plastics also specializes in the manufacture of printed wicketted bread bags.
  • Tregers Harare manufactures a wide variety of roofing sheets including: * Flat Galvanised Steel Sheets * Fluted (IBR) Galvanised Sheets * Chromadek and Corrugated Steel Sheets
